Start a mandate

Start with a clear commercial objective.

A mandate begins with what you are trying to achieve. Set out the objective and the constraints, and the Group will say plainly whether it can help and how it would proceed.

What happens next

  1. A direct answer

Whether the Group can help with what you have described, and if not, that it cannot.

  2. How it would proceed

Which capability applies, what the first stage would establish, and what the Group would need from you to do it.

  3. Controlled disclosure

Information you choose to share is not passed to a counterparty without your agreement.

Tell us what you want to sell, source or bring to market.

What to include

  • What you hold or what you need, and the specification if there is one
  • The market or markets involved
  • The commercial objective, and what has to be true for it to work
  • Timing, and any constraint that already applies

Enquiries are read by the Group and answered directly. Where a requirement falls outside the Group’s current sector focus, it is considered selectively, on the same terms as any other: a clear commercial objective and a credible route to execution.
