Current sector focus
Where the capabilities are applied.
Four areas of current focus, chosen for commercial relevance. The sector sets the specification, the documentation and the counterparties. The method does not change.
Capabilities and sectors
Capabilities are what the Group does: market access and representation, sourcing and procurement, commercial intelligence and advisory, transaction and project development.
Sectors are where it does them. A sourcing engagement in aviation and one in industrial commodities follow the same method and produce entirely different documentation, qualification standards and counterparties. That difference is the sector.
Current focus, not a boundary
These are the Group’s current areas of sector focus. Mandates outside them are considered selectively, where there is a clear commercial objective and a credible route to execution. The Group is not a general trading house and does not take work simply because it is offered.
Energy & Industrial Commodities
Scope
Thermal and steam coal, industrial fuels, lubricants and industrial raw materials moved between producing and consuming markets, with the sourcing and documentary work that goes with them.
Capabilities most applied
Indicative situations
- A buyer needs a grade and volume its existing sources cannot confirm
- A producer needs a route into a consuming market it does not sell into
- A term arrangement needs restructuring after a counterparty change
What remains elsewhere
The Group works as a commercial intermediary and adviser. Production, refining and storage remain with the operators.
Aviation & Aerospace
Scope
Commercial aviation supply and component sourcing, supplier identification and qualification, and aviation-related commercial development.
Capabilities most applied
Indicative situations
- A component is needed against a part number and a documentation standard
- A supplier has been found and cannot yet be qualified
- A parts or asset requirement needs a commercial route across borders
What remains elsewhere
The Group works commercially: sourcing, qualification and development. Airworthiness, certification and maintenance remain with approved organisations.
Industrial Projects & Strategic Assets
Scope
Plant, equipment and asset-backed projects, from early commercial development through to a workable transaction structure.
Capabilities most applied
Indicative situations
- An asset or plant requires a commercial structure before it can move
- A project owner needs equipment sourced against a technical specification
- An early-stage opportunity needs assessing before capital is committed
What remains elsewhere
The Group develops the commercial route. Engineering, construction and technical certification remain with qualified specialists.
Precious Materials & Gemstones
Scope
Sourcing, counterparty assessment and transaction development in precious materials and gemstones, conducted on a documented basis.
Capabilities most applied
Indicative situations
- A buyer requires material on a documented basis from a qualified counterparty
- A supplier relationship needs assessing before any commitment is made
What remains elsewhere
The Group works commercially, on documented material. Gemmological certification and provenance verification remain with accredited laboratories.
Start with the sector and the objective.
Tell the Group which sector the requirement sits in and what has to happen. It will say whether it can help and how it would proceed.
