Formula

The calculation compares total gross weight with total volumetric weight for identical packages. The higher value is shown as indicative chargeable weight.

Volume (m³) = packages × length × width × height ÷ 1,000,000

Gross weight (kg) = packages × gross weight per package

Volumetric weight (kg) = packages × length × width × height ÷ divisor

Chargeable weight (kg) = higher of gross and volumetric weight
